Description
Highland Hills Medical Associates seeks a Family Nurse Practitioner to work in our clinic. Prior primary care experience preferred. This is a full-time position. 

Job Summary: Insures and demonstrates advanced nursing skills in assessing, diagnosing, and managing clients in the primary care clinic using protocols established in cooperation with the collaborating physician and approved by the Board of Nursing. Supervises clinical staff. Maintains regulatory agency requirements, nursing and hospital policies, procedures and standards.
 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

    1. Demonstrates ability to facilitate patient entry into health care system.
    2. Provides health care that is comprehensive, coordinated and continuous.
    3. Assumes responsibility for maintaining competence in clinical practice.
    4. Participants in quality assurance/continued quality improvement activities.
    5. Collaborates with other health care providers in assuming, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for patients.

Regulatory Requirements:

  • Possession of a current Mississippi RN licensure, Master's degree.
  • Certification as Family/Pediatric Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurse Credentialing Committee (ANCC).
  •  Prepared by education, training and experience to work with adult/and or pediatric patients.
  • CPR Certification required.
Language Skills:
  • Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
  • Excellent oral & written communication, interpersonal, problem solving & organizational skills.
Skills:
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Ability to plan, schedule, prioritize and complete multiple tasks and demands.
